Martin puts Cole for the first time on the PP this season and he scores a goal... what an idiot!!!

But we still lost the game and our best scorer so far got injured...
We suck!

Leafs trolls? How cute. I guess it's hard not to lash out when the lowly Leafs have beaten your team twice already.

I HIGHLY doubt Roy is our next coach. Roy has a huge ego, why would he want this mess of a team? Unless he's foolish enough to think he can turn it around. Besides, who says Gauthier is even thinking of Roy as an option?

Common sense? Usually the coach goes first, not the gm.

This is sad...it's hard to even enjoy the hockey game when things like that keep hapening.

I know my last couple comments weren't exactly constructive, but with all the Leafs rants the last couple pages I had to say something. It's amazing how emotionally invested people get in a team they're not even a fan of.

Not surprised against the Flyers. At least they played a good game, which is is progress. Edit...well, other than the whole giving Jagr 3 breakaways thing...

Wow, how unreal was Jacob Markstrom? Going to be the next stud goalie in the league!

Gustavsson gets hung out to dry more than any goalie I've ever seen.. and that includes this year's Carey Price.

Who the hell gives Jagr 3 breakaways?!?!?! Gustavsson made a huge stop on the 2nd one or the score would have been worse. Actually, if Gustavsson didn't play so well it would have been worse. Komi is such a pylon, him and Schenn pretty much parted like the Red Sea for Jagr's first breakaway.

haha, a lot of Leafs fans here went silent after they lost.

Maybe now is the time they start doing downhill?

Flames have been playing horrible, that last game was pure bullshit, the goal was cleary in. They ruled the goal a "no" because of incidental interference, if your going to call interfernce just whistle a penalty. Get rid the the incidental interference. If it weren't for the disallowed goal, the Flames would have won.

Yeah that was a pretty bad game for the Leafs, but they were playing a top tier team with their number 2 goalie in net. - No excuses though, a loss is a loss, is a loss.

I think one loss is a bit premature to start calling that. Let's wait until they at least fall below .500.

Gustavsson's a solid backup. But Leafs will need Reimer back and healthy if they want to be successful this year. I don't think he's elite (maybe one day?), but the team's overall record since his promotion last season has been pretty darn good. Optimus Reim keeps the team competitive and seems to be the Leafs' good luck charm

All sorts of trade rumours involving the Flames lately, sadly I doubt any of them are true as I don't think a trade Ecklund http://www.hockeybuzz.com/blog.php?blogger_id=1 has predicted has ever come true. Still, it would be nice to ship off Stajan's useless ass for some youthful energy and a potential future for the Flames.

It's going to get ugly tommorow against Philly.

It's a case of more bad news for the Montreal Canadiens.

Forward Max Pacioretty suffered ligament damage to his wrist and while he won't need surgery, a timeline for his return has not yet been established
