Paris, Rome and Barcelona. If I have to pick, in that order.

I recently visited Lisbon, Madrid, Bilbao, San Sebastian, and Barcelona. I completely fell in love with Lisbon. And Madrid was a hidden gem - right there in the open! Barcelona has its charms, obviously, but is completely swamped with tourists, even in unexpected places.

You should definitely check out Porto then.

It is a grittier version of Lisbon with all its medieval buildings still standing (as you probably know Lisbon got razed in the 1755 earthquake)

^^It's the most visited city in Europe, that's why.

Paris is not the favorite city for French people though. In fact the city is rather unloved in France. For French people, their favorite cities tend to be Toulouse and Montpellier. Recently, Bordeaux and Rennes have also gained lots of favor in France (I can understand Bordeaux, but Rennes ??).

Lisboa! The San Francisco of Europe, and very underrated.

I have to go with London (which, of course, has nothing to do with the fact that I've been living here all my life ). No, to be honest, I really think London has a lot to offer and I couldn't imagine living anywhere else - beauty, culture, diversity. Couldn't ask for more.

Berlin oozes cool from every pore, but I feel most at home in Paris; a jubilation of humanity.

Right now I would have to say Amsterdam. I'm trying to save up money to go in November during an event. I can't wait to go.

Berlin - dynamic, cool, gritty, historical, liveable, super fun and chill place.

Honorable mentions go to Barcelona, Rome and Vienna.

I haven't been to Lisboa, but I get the feeling it would also make the cut! I also really dig much of eastern Europe, but haven't found a city there that has all that I'd want for living.
