The glass on the Freedom Tower is supposed to be more "whitish", if that makes any sense. Also, there is a mockup posted here. Silverstein initially said all of his towers would have the same glass, but I believe that has changed, particularly with Tower 4.
The first new render would be whitish, the second render looks dark blue...but the glass we've seen looks light green or blue. Talk about crazy. What would whitish glass look like, I've never seen such a thing. They just need to put some up so we can end all this speculation.
I mean, slightly frosted? There's really white, ala 123 Washington, but there's also whitish along the lines of of the Standard over the highline, which is ever so off clear. I would say BOA is whitish. I'd like clear like this:

hey everybody i have great news, i went to tower 1v2 yesterday and i asked for a manager on duty so the manager comes up to me and i asked him about the cladding and he said that the cladding will start around october 20. also i asked him when the tower will be taller then the varcy aka verizon building and he said around october 25 to nov 3. so if its true what he said then 2 big mile stones will be happening this coming month. so lets stay tuned and see,

You should have told them that you were terminally ill and aren't going to live that long and see if they can move it up 20 days. Seriously, October 20th? It's probably going to end up being October 23rd at 4:45 in the afternoon...

I am taking from this that Tower One is supposed to be clad in the same glass as Tower Seven? That is what I am taking from this. If that is the case then it would be spectacular news. I love the glass look of Tower Seven.
