That's going to be a nice tower. The new park space will be a great addition to the area as well.

I thought it was designed by KPMB.

Again, it should be a nice tower if they stick to the design we saw in the renders. Even if it is window wall it won't matter. This one relies on the balcony glass that acts as the true envelope of the building.

Charles street as viewed from Yonge is easily becoming one of the coolest streets in Toronto imo ^. As soon as you hit Charles and look down, boom! it's a canyon of massive condo buildings, all of which have gone up in the past 5 years or so. I'm not a fan of the Casa-type balconies, but man, do they emphasize how many units and floors these buildings have.

We'll hit that critical mass sooner or later. And every street downtown will feel big city...

I'm amazed it lasted this long.

Actually, I'm kinda surprised that parking structure across the street survived the Fords. $50M as a 1 time sale surely would have added another $600M to their "savings to the city". Yeah, it's car related, but surely no-one from Etobicoke parks there.

Don't think it's that easy for the mayor to sell Green P property particularly a garage running at capacity. Losing too many budget hotels in the core. Think there are easier sites to build on than the comfort inn. It's 10 storeys with a multilevel underground garage on a narrow lot.
