Yeah, they should be black.

What's up with the revolving door?

Must be an Ontario architect?

Even Cadillac Fairview got rid of the revolving doors from TD Tower and Pacific Centre years ago.

Is there any logic for buildings to have overhangs for weather protection then close it all off with a patio?

Always been a big pet-peeve of mine too. City should definitely mandate weather protection extend beyond any activated patio to provide the same depth of protection were the patio not there.

They can always replace those glass on the rain shelter with something longer, and enabling the protrusions for the pedestrians. Well, perhaps the city should insist that the building owner do that!

I know it's not finished yet, but man, what an unappealing patio that is.

Seems fine to me, a couple hanging baskets and planters and a few people and it'll be a decent patio.

Worked in this building a few weeks ago. Very nice layout inside. Parkade seems to have a limited amount of stalls. The building has 2 vehicle elevators which bring you down to the parkade. You don't see many of them too often in the city.

The building has all hard ceilings on each floor so you have a true height of 12-13 feet or so floor to ceiling.

The design of the patio space is unappealing. The dark, permanently-fixed, metal benches have the charm and elegance of a cafeteria in a correctional institution. Add to that the bars extending vertically from the patio railings (which will probably function as supports for an unsightly plastic encasement during the entire winter months), and this design has the potential to take away from the corner aesthetically more than it adds.

If you were to take away the rails it would be a generic mcdonalds style padio lol.

I'll bet they'll string lights through the rings at the top of the posts.
i.e. strings of Edison bulbs.

I do love the idea of strings of lights going up columns or criss-crossing above. Give a real delight to patios at night. These days they can choose energy-saving LEDs instread of the Edison bulbs.

There's a form of LED bulb that mimics the Edison bulbs with LED strips inside.
