Doors Open Ottawa 2008

I should have got on this earlier because it would have made a great SPP meet and greet:

http://www.ottawa.ca/residents/herit.../index_en.html

The city of Ottawa is doing its own version of the "Doors Open..." event where a massive list of historic and notable buildings around the city will be open to the public. The list looks awesome (click on a region of the city to see the full list of buildings).

Although I'm to late to game to plan an SPP meet and might not even be able to make much of it myself I figured I would let the rest of you know.

Here is the facebook event for those of you hip to getting your sousveillance on: Doors Open Ottawa

Too Bad though that the Oc Transpo bus garages are not open to the public. At least they have the O-Train facility open, but seeing the place where most of the fleet is based would have been a nice addition.

I went to the Hungarian and Armenian embassies, 7 Rideau Gate and the Hindu Temple. Tomorrow I'm going to the CMHC Housing Labs and the Government Conference Centre.
