I just got a pop up on my computer saying you are "playing".

Internet crashed again so I got pushed back a bit.

I have you as a friend on Origin but I still can't send you an invite. I guess we need to do it on Simcity as well?

Should be soon. It came online finally so I'm 25% installed.

I went to create an Origin account only to find out I already have one (since when, I have no idea). Ayreonaut was taken, as was my now-more-common Ayrcan (which is a made-up word!! Who would steal my own words?). I was going to be SSP_Ayreonaut, but apparently I'm already Ayrcan89.

Downloaded the special edition and that European pack. I can't play tonight, but if you guys want to add me as a friend on Origin go for it and I might be able to get started tomorrow evening.

Not well, actually. Simcity can't pack'em in like St. John's can.

The number of houses you see there is ALMOST as many as can fit in the space I provided. I'll still create a similar pattern of roads, just larger so I can fit more houses inside each block.

Hmmm... so I created a new private server so I could found my real Signal Hill while still experimenting with the one above. When I founded a city on Ingot Landing on the new server, it refreshed my Ingot Landing on the other one as well. So now I have two servers with an Ingot Landing without anything done to it yet... Weird.

I guess you can only have one of each kind?

Just realized we probably all have to be on the same main server as well. I was on North America West 1, for some reason. So I'm waiting to join North America East 1.

EDIT: Nevermind, it's making me do that whole practice one again... any way to skip that?

No way to skip. I'd prefer to have all regions on one server, but if East 1 is gonna be difficult then maybe its best to switch. I assume East 1 is closer to us (and better selection) based on it being auto-picked? But I really have no idea how that all works.

I think the selection is identical. It's probably just a first and second North America East server. They could even be in the same room.

O.K., I'm in, and I've created a SkyscraperPage.com region on North America East 2. But I've still NO idea how to add you all to my friend list. I've searched for SSP, DMAJackson, Copes, etc... it finds no one every time.
