No, sorry that's all I have.

The North Bund twin towers are now under construction now so I started a new thread in the "under construction" forum.

About the SHKP project, the Food Center destruction seems to progress.
Anyone in Shanghai to tell us how much of it is destroyed now?
Does somebody has more detailled renderings of the complex ?

August 2nd 2004, from the Oriental Pearl. Not a great pic but a view on a part of the X-2plots block : destruction of the Food Center has progressed, construction of the SHKP complex is nearing.

dchen informed us about the Hongyi building in Nanjing street. 147m 29 floors (the average height in this part of the city). There is rendering on the yard pallisade.

Shanghigh also announced the imminent construction of the 180 m Hopson Plaza in Lujiazui, next to the under construction Shangri-La Hotel extension

dchen or Shanghigh did you hear about this project. It looks like a potential 300 m tower, its location is not specified.

from http://www.building.com.hk/todaynews/tnw2004_03.html :

(SHANGHAI - 29 March 2004)
TIPS China Building to be built in Shanghai

The China Branch of the United Nations Development Programme Technology Information Promotion System (TIPS) has commissioned the construction of TIPS China Building in Shanghai. The 67-storey building will occupy a 47,000 sq m site and will have a construction area of 250,000 sq m.

TIPS China Building will provide office, commercial, exhibition and conference facilities to international organisations and institutions engaging in the promotion of technology information. The building will be equipped with a highly advanced air filtration system imported from overseas and an advanced anti-terrorism emergency system.

Total investment in the project is RMB2.5 billion (US$301.2 million) and the building is scheduled for completion at the end of 2008.

I heard this project earlier from cameraunion forum but could not be certain about the news since I can't find any other sources except that posting.

It's unlikely to reach 300m, unless it has a Shimao International type spire. As a comparison, Plaza 66 has 66 floors plus a glassy top at the height of 288m.

Thanks avcellvs for giving us this good news!

And how many exactly, we don't really know. Great news by the way.

Is there any news of the North Bund Tower? On last pix from the Oriental Pearl, you can't see some activities on the plot (diggers, pilling machines).
What will be its final height ? Originally it was supposed to be just a bit lower than the JinMao but some renderings show a shorter version too.

Do you have any information about this building under construction in JiuJiang Lu (just besides the Shimao International Plaza). It is already 20 floors high.

Really exciting news dchen ! I had seen this post in the WFC thread but as I don't read chinese, I was waiting for some sort of confirmation to what I understood.

- Development Tower 265 m, not bad ! This is higher than the 230 m Bank of China and Bocom. UNDER CONSTRUCTION ? Such a long time since I have not found views from the JinMao or the Oriental Pearl, does the construction has really already started ?

- SHKP project, plots X2-1, X2-2. Does this means these three buildings are only phase one of the development ? (approximatively half of the block)

- Is the Hopson Plaza under construction too ?

PS : dchen, I'll spend 3 weeks in Shanghai from october 26th (next tuesday) to november 15th. It could be fun to meet you and shanghigh and all the shanghai forumers if you have some time to. You can write me at this travel mail, I'll be checking it from my hotel when I'll get there :
