I know it wouldn't happen, but I'd like to see Wild Rose in the Dome.

Actually in my point of view, I believe the Flames will be a playoff contending team.

With the Regehr trade, they dumped a lot of salary while still getting a #6 defender. Feaster also made wonderful signings by resigning Tanguay and Babchuck. They also added Scott Hannan, a very cheap and good defensive defenseman. Feaster also added Stempniak, which added offense and if Stempniak is a bust, he only has 1 year on his contract.

Bad use of wording there, I meant they will be a contending team.

If they fought for a playoff spot last year, I think the Flames will do much better this year.

The Flames missed the playoffs by a whopping 3 points last season.

Anyone who equates them earning a measly 3 more points with the moon exploding, is quite frankly, someone who has no clue how hockey works.

I said playing against Luongo in the finals was the miracle because of the fact he got that far. Vancouver should have put Schneider in nets which unfortunately didn't happen.

No, you really have to be a Habs fan to understand.

Anyway, we should have a "dirty" player in the lineup this year to respond to their "strong hockey plays".

I don't hold a grudge against every team that beat the Habs (that's would be ridiculous). However, I do have a problem with teams that constantly headshot us game after game.

Think about it as an Oilers or Flames fan who hates the Canucks. Now amplify the hate by 10 and we're getting close to how Habs and Bruins feel about each other.

Ok, so people dying in a tragic plane crash is the same as a hockey rivalry?

Also, you REALLY exaggerated on the Bruins/Habs vs Flames/Canucks hate. That brawl with the two teams was a joke, as the goalies were having fun when fighting.

Anyway let's change the subject to something that is actually relevant to the 11-12 season.

Do you guys think Crosby will start the season on time? Good to know for the hockey pools.

I pity anyone who can't differentiate between a sports rivalry and a tragic event that takes 45 lives.

Same here, I would question anyone who would think that.

This is exactly what I wrote: That was almost as bad as the other sad events that happened this summer.

And I am not exaggerating about the Bruins-Habs rivalry. And I am not talking about that specific game but the rivalry as a WHOLE.

Anyway let's please go back on topic now.

Still, almost as bad? Not even close.

Anyways, I think Crosby will be back by late October.

When I wrote almost as bad, I meant to say that one thing is very bad/sad while the tragic plane crash is catastrophic. Cmon guys, use some common sense next time please.

Well it looks like Crosby is on the right track...

Ugh, I think I prefer Molson. I wonder if it will still be heroin beer.

People get drunk on it quickly apparently. The reasoning is they carbonate the beer somewhat so it flows easier. That's what I read. Its more realistic than some of the stupid stories about it being laced with something or having a higher alcohol content..

I always heard it was because they never clean the taps at the Saddledome.

Either way, the Nosebleeders are likely to riot when they find out their Canadian right to a Molson at a hockey game is now gone.
