Better than the original rendering but not by a whole lot. Decent at best.

I'd give it a 6.5/10 C grade. It satisfies minimum requirements and is a solid addition to the city but isn't anything particularly spectacular. I'm pleased.

I'm really glad they're going with white. The city really doesn't have a lot of that.

Agree with others -- not fancy, but decent infill.

I think it looks pretty good. I like the look of the storefront level- it looks a little like a portico, which would be even better.

This doesn't look that bad to me, especially as an early rendering. The simple fact that there is street level commercial is mind blowing frankly. And due to that, I almost don't care about the upper level finishes... New zero setback retail on Cannon? WHo would have thought...

Are you saying you'd like a setback on a 12-floor building on Cannon?

It looks exactly like the building opposite No Frills on Main at Tisdale. No set back precedent.

I just love the infill Hamilton is getting! Also happy how it's not all window-wall boxes but rather buildings that actually have some real materials on it, too.

They've started excavating at the site. Looks to be about 2 stories deep.

Walked by this evening; too dark to take a proper photo but they're definitely above ground now, at least by a few walls.
