Leed Ap

I wrote and passed my LEED AP exam today and highly encourage any of you interested in this topic to do so as well. It was much more intensive than I would have thought it to be but very worthwhile. The overall understanding of so many things from studying for this exam is amazing.

If you want to get information on how to become LEED AP or general links to "green" things...go to the following.

In Canada:

www.CaGBC.org

In the US of A

www.USGBC.org

Cheers!

Coldrsx, LEED AP:>

I am taking the exam next Saturday, what do you think is the best way to study? I have the reference book that I have been reviewing, what else helped you pass the exam?

Check out this website:

I'm taking the exam before June 30th so I'm ordering Pat's "LEED AP Walkthrough" offer.

Good luck!

^My brother's an architect and he took these exams last summer (and passed). He said they were a major pain. Good luck to you both!

i should also mention that it will be interesting to see if they keep the "P" in LEED AP for a "professional" has inherent liability.

I passed! It was a very tough exam but I studied on and off for the past 3 months with the past couple weekends before devoted to intense study of the reference guide and practice tests. Good timing too because my next project is a LEED Gold medical research building in Oklahoma City.

My understanding is that if you still want to take v2.2 you need to sign up to take it by Tuesday (Mar. 31) and actually take the exam by June 30. Version 3.0 gets a lot harder and you have to have previous green design/building experience. For us 'legacy' LEED AP's we will have to take another test in a few years in addition to CE.

After passing the LEED GA exam, you may choose to take the LEED AP exam, which requires specific knowledge of the prerequisites and credits for a particular rating system. For LEED AP Exam prep I'd like to recommend GBRI. https://www.gbrionline.org/9-leed-ap...rtner/?ref=nan
