You're right for 2 reasons:

1.) Silverstein really wants to get this whole complex done as fast as he can

and

2.) he knows that the Port Authority and the city government will rape him with paperwork, problems, etc, if 1 and 4 WTC are done and occupied before the work on the others is done or even started because they'll say something like "well, ya see this is a commuting zone now, so you can only do work for 8 minutes after midnight on Saturdays when the 1 WTC OBS deck is closed in the spring time and when alternated side parking is in effect."

I think he knows the situation is practically now or never, so he'll do whatever he can to get everything done around the same time.

Well, Silverstein has shown no signs of slowing down. Just the opposite actually...

Foundation work is ongoing for T3, and the first of 3 tower cranes for T4 will come in a week or two.

If the construction proceeds for this building, does anyone think it might make substantial progress quite a bit faster than WTC1 because it might have less issues tying into existing structures around it, plus more room for staging building materials, etc.?

I don't think any of these towers will make much progress (visibly) until they start working from ground level.

From the last photo of Chief Wahoo, South wall foundation of WTC3 is visible, sure that next month WTC3 will be comparable to Maki tower progress .

^^^I highly doubt that. The machinery used to clean the site up probably would have tore up the pavement in the process. Besides there were no lines there before 9/11, just a curb before the parking spaces

I hadn't thought about it, but I went back and looked at some original WTC photos.
I don't know if those are the original lines, but if they aren't, they are very similar to the ones that were.

Could be from the indoor observation deck (107th). That was the only way you could get that close to the edge. I've taken similar photos (pre-digital) from that angle.

Isn't it crazy that digital cameras have progressed so much in the past 8 years that photos from or of the towers already look "historic"?

Well, I am glad that all of the WTC towers will be part of the Manhattan grid. Towers 3 and 4 will be the connection to the rest of the financial district.
Looking down on Liberty Plaza, it still looks tall, but in reality it will be dwarfed by these new towers.
