One of the biggest project of capital is International business center Tashkent city. This is new downtown which is being building. Project has been building since 2017. Will be built in 2021. “Tashkent city” will be located on a plot of 80 hectares. The project involves the construction of modern business offices, hotels, conference centers, hypermarkets, entertainment centers, pedestrian areas and development of high rise and comfortable residential buildings unprecedented for Tashkent

^ interesting — are are uzbeks developing this project and working the construction? or did the developers bring in russians or somebody else to do it?

Uzbek companies are building these projects in majority, but not only. Some British, Turkish and Chinese companies also take a part in this. Investors are from South Korea, Uzbekistan, Germany and Britian

Tashkent metro has 29 stations with three lines. Since 2017, new 35 stations are being building. New 33 stations are overground and 2 are underground. In 2021, the new stations will be built and we have 64 stations with 500.000 - 750.000 passengers per day

^ outstanding. i loved riding the tashkent subways. and the bullet train from samarkand. unfortunately you were not allowed to take photos in the subway stations when i visited. however — great news — i heard they lifted that restriction and now you can take photos of the beautiful stations. i think the cosmonaut station was my favorite.

Cosmonaut station is very unusual and unique. Sure! Last 2.5 -3 years, new President (Mirziyoyev Shavkat) has started to move to more openess to tourists, because, this is one of the very profitable income for country

One of the new project in the capital. Humo Arena is new ice palace which has been built for development hockey in the country. Humo hockey command has been created by government

where will this be located?

we had a great view of pakhtakor markaziy stadium when we stayed in tashkent at the shodlik hotel and i was wondering about arenas, so its great to see this.

This arena is situated in near to Tashkent city (New downtown, you can see how it is being building right side on the picture). Pakhtakor stadium is near also to this area. Uzbekistan metro station
