Thans for posting. The area really needs to be revitalized and this is a great first step!

Someone asked what I thought about the amendments to the redevelopment plan, but then quickly deleted their post. The developers, city planners, or someone is reading up about their professional work on SSP. lol

I think the plan is great. More importantly it’s what this building will do for the area. It’s a little over a block away from the light rail station, but the land is literally used for illegal dumping. Similar to the waterfront area before Newport came along.

This development will be a catalyst for others to follow.

We’re in a housing crisis now, and in 30 years these buildings will probably be surrounded by much taller developments. Therefore, I think they should grow even bigger and make an impact like the ones they’re building in Journal Square. No need to artificially limit height or density here.

Oooooh, I like it! Is that terra cotta on the greenish vertical elements? Also like the arches at the base. This one's really nice.
