Ha! I was going to mention his name, but I wasn't sure if anyone would know who he was. I watched that movie "17 Again" that he was in. It's a decent (hilarious) movie that is sort of reminiscent of Back to the Future in a way.

A permit for the second tower crane was filed yesterday. It says the first tower crane will be used to erect the second crane. That seems unusual.

FAA crane permits - this says the taller of the two will be 485 feet.

Fairly common for jobs with multiple cranes. It’s cost efficient because you don’t have to bring in a crane on wheels and close a street for the errection of the second crane.

An installation date was added to the permit for the second tower crane - next weekend. We need more tower cranes! They have been coming down lately faster than they have been going up. There are plenty of cranes around town for mid-rises, but there are fewer now than in a long time for big downtown projects. But that's only temporary.

I drove past this in the dark tonight, and it looks like the elevator core is two stories above ground.

I've been noticing a lot of condos at the Four Seasons Residences coming up for sale lately, perhaps in response to this hotel blocking a lot of their views?
