LOS ANGELES. Diversity is no harm. Part I

Here we go. It's just a little piece from my humble lens of our endless diverse city of Los Angeles and its nearest suburbs. I'm so glad to transform my hobby into something more and to someone else, posting some of my pictures on this forum thread. The photos were taken from East LA, North East LA, Mt Washington, DTLA, Angelino Heights, Westlake, Hollywood and West Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Westwood, to Venice and Santa Monica.
Enjoy!

Excellent! It is striking to me how many vantage points there are to see the downtown core from in Los Angeles. The spreading city grid is awesome in all directions.

Great post showing the diversity of LA. So beautiful, yet Its still one of the few cities that leaves me really torn.

Theres something calming about the pictures of LA in the rain.

Great job. Loving all of the wide angles. In terms of sheer vastness and architectural diversity, few cities rival LA. In alot of areas, it really is in a league of its own.

Wonderful. One of the best photo collections I've seen of LA, if not the best.

It baffles me how so many people could hate on this place. It's such a fascinating city--so damn unique.

It's strange but this photo gives me oddly a Manila/Bangkok vibe This is typical LA grit.

Well that was enjoyable. I only spent 3 days there for the first time in February and that i loved that you captured what for me was one of it's most unexpected pleasures; the wacky topography.

Anyone know the background story to this shopping plaza? How old is it and what was the purpose of it? It's beautifully done but always felt a little odd, like something you'd find at an amusement park.

Yeah, they built it a couple years ago, which is why it might feel 'off' to you.
