This thread is rich. I like that you were able to get so many portraits of the people. From other people I've met, I've heard the traditional culture is disappearing at an alarming rate. Hopefully I can get there sooner rather than later. Great set.

Thanks! Yes the culture is disappearing quickly i think. It is still very much there now, but I wonder how long it can sustain itself.

Amazing photos

I have a few questions for you:

- How did you get to such remote villages? was it an organized tour?
- if you went there on your own, didn't you find it intimidating since most of those people are still tribal and therefore you don't know how they might react towards foreigners
- what camera did you use?
- where did you sleep?

About half the places I've been to in this world, I got there at an optimal time and other half, I was too late!

Thanks for the windows to this part of Africa!
