Autumn in SEOUL

Last month I visited Seoul for a few days and was incredibly impressed. It's a beautiful city, with soaring skyscrapers, awesome temples and palaces, beautiful public spaces, a fantastic transit system, and great food. I think it might be my favorite city in Asia. Enjoy the pics, and get yourself to Seoul ASAP!

cripes! not a single dunkin donuts in portland, yet there's a four story Club Dunk in seoul. go figure.

nice tour, homie, real peanut buttered. those guys in 24-25 look like a cross between raiden and scorpion from mortal kombat. 58 and 111 are excellent photos. good stuff.

Thanks for the pictures of Seoul, shivtim!

Very nice temples, beautiful colours of Fall there. I´ve liked a lot your pictures of red leaves.

Great modern architecture! Very animated streets.

Congrats and greetings from Madrid, Spain!

Very impressive. Fall truly brings the best out of places.

What an amazing city; It's just one of those cities that seems to have it all. To look at these types of diverse street scenes and not have the burning desire to see it in person would mean you are not actually into cities and you shouldn't even belong to this website.

The place is just too cool. Right up there with Tokyo, Bangkok. London, NYC, Instanbul, Hong Kong, Shanghai and any other epic city that is is sensory overload in a good way.

I seriously hope N. Korea doesn't wipe it off the map in a rageful fit one day. Cause North Korea doesn't have much to lose but South Korea has one of the most interesting cities and one of the most important economies of the world to lose.

Anyway, great, great thread. Loved it to death.

This was going to be my comment, though I'd substitute Portland for San Francisco!

Anyway, great photos though. Seoul isn't on here enough for how big a city it is. Thank you for sharing your photos of the city.

best tour of Seoul I've seen on the forum. How is Lotte World able to rip off Disney like that (the castle)? You'd think Disney would be all over them.

Seoul looks to have an identity all its own, which seems hard to believe being squashed between the likes of Japan and China. The people in the pictures look different, American almost in the way they act. Very surpising to see all that. Great shots!

^It really does have its own identity. It feels really different from Tokyo or Beijing.

Cheonggyecheon looks awesome in photos and has to be better in person.

Cool shots.

Seoul is a cool city! Been many years since i've been there though.

@ giovanni sasso, there used to be quite a few Dunkin's around the metro but I guess they pulled out of this market around 2006 or so?
