I'm not a big fan of the way this one has turned out. The big unnecessary concrete things on the ends makes it look like a prison block or a commieblock from South Asia or something. I realize it's not finished yet but I just wonder what they can possibly do to fix that.

I don't mind it actually. Normally I would, but this one needed something on the ends to make them not so blunt. The west walls of the Radisson and Four Seasons over there really bug me, too. Maybe they could have done something else, but I'd rather not have such a blunt wall facing a park.

I dislike a lot about the Catherine. It looks good and adds infill. But...the color scheme and cladding looks terrible and Hyattesque. The stairwells of exposed concrete on the ends need work. The huge footprint makes it look like 80s low income housing in Queens. Oh and the parking garage facade is the ugliest thing I've ever seen. Hopefully the new building(forgot the name). Will cover most of it.

I was hoping a more modern look overall but its fine for what it is and the location. I do like the parking garage cover. Keeps it looking like a thick modern artistic base rather than parking levels.

Move ins have started, although the upper levels won't be available until July. This place has some units that rent for over $11K per month!

Yeah, they're really nice, aren't they? Nice views of the hills also. They're more impressive when seen from "off the ground".

I feel torn on this building. I like it overall, but that exposed concrete on the sides was a huge oversight. Maybe if they did murals all the way down on each side. I think the apartment below it really goes nicely and adds to the look of the building and area though and draws some of the attention away from that terrible exposed concrete.

I hate bumping completed project threads, but I hadn't noticed decorative lighting on this place until last night. There were some bright blue vertical lights on one end of the building. This is a crappy 2:00 AM drive by photo, but hopefully you get the idea:
