My wife and I were scheduled to spend 3 weeks there at the end of 2010, but had to indefinitely postpone due to her getting pregnant.

Someday!

Obviously everywhere has its own uniqueness, but India really seems like a really special kind of place to travel through.

Can't wait for the individual threads.

What a great selection! I'll never get tired of studying the details of India's architectural monuments! It's threads like this that give me a sense of inspiration!

Amazing set of photos. There are so many adjectives that could be used to describe India. Those photos give us a nice taste

Indeed. More than anything else it was the streetlife in India that blew me away. Photos really can't do it justice, but you have to experience it for yourself.

Great stuff... really fascinating. Those overloaded bikes are crazy. Do you know what the story is behind the people with the typewriters?

I took that photo right outside of a courthouse in Kolkata, so the most likely explanation is that they were typing some sort of official documents for illiterate people.
