What! I thought these turned out beautiful. I'd love to own one.

I don't think they look bad at all.

They minimized the amount of stucco used, so it mostly gives off the brick look... which is good since it's supposed to be a brownstone... but you know how developers get.

I'm not sure what people expected -- without a radical architectural design, what else could have made these more than "average"? (and I think they look good too)

For some reason I thought the stucco would be a bit warmer of a grey than what went up, and the windows are weirdly flush with the facade at points. Overall they're really great infill. Just weird finishes.

That's fair. I'm not sure any other shade of grey would have made a difference... maybe an earth-tone would have helped that way? I really didn't notice the flush windows until you mentioned it, but I don't mind that. At least the dormers are functional and not just decorative.

In terms of mass and general design I like it. The colours of the brick too (and I just noticed the darker ones interspersed in there)

Landscaping will help with the final look.

It's decent infill, only I would expect an infill that describes itself as a Brownstone to actually look like a Brownstone.

This is a Brownstone

I guess "The Brownstonish-Townhouses on Augusta" just didn't have the same ring to it.

I think they're decent. A lot better than an empty lot, that's for sure.

They definitely agree with the area... really good infill and glad they were mostly brick as opposed to their neighbours on Walnut

Prices are going crazy. Who can afford this stuff? How much higher can it go? Are banks going to tighten lending?
