I used my Tokina 12-24 for that one. The fireworks were for the opening of Ottawa's annual winter festival, Winterlude. We have to do something to cheer ourselves up in this dreadful climate (actually it was a beautiful evening, only about -8C and calm).

4 Image HDR/DRI manually blended using Lee Big Stopper to smooth out cloud effects.

Great photos toyota, especially like that last one.

During my ridiculous 12 hour shifts at night, I can usually sneak off during the 2 hour interval it takes to run samples and go take pictures. Here are some I took last night.

Wow photolith, those shots look so smooth and sharp. The new camera looks way better for night photography. Definitely justified, since there isn't really a better lens than the one you have (the 14-24).
