Great looking skyline and the Austonian looks fantastic.

Looks pretty classy so far.
Yes, it was too. I was actually down at St. Ed's taking pictures this evening. It's definitely an improvement, but I'm still wanting more.

I'm guessing the third "section" of lighting will be the east and west sides, yeah? I'm going to guess they'll do the same spotlight effect as the north and south sides. That way the crescent will still be distinguishable.

Either way, I can't wait to see the finished product.

Yeah, it looks pretty good actually. There's a view of it in my neighborhood, and on the way home from taking those photos, I saw it. It's definitely noticeable from that spot, and that's 5 miles away. If they light up the other two sides, it'll definitely standout.

The top lights of the crown (the ones that have been white for a couple of months) are changing colors now, akin to the Monarch's crown. At this rate the lighting scheme should be finished any day now...

Does anybody know when the Austonian will finish off? I'm thinking somewhere in mid-March to early-April. That's my estimate. But is there any set timetable?

Pretty much all the exterior work is done. The lighting is supposed to be done this month. The interior work will continue for many months though as buyers move in.

I think there are still a few months left before people start moving in. Some of the lower floors are probably nearly done but street-level still has a ways to go.

There is lot of components that makes up the interior which includes software programming of various systems. In many instances, different systems need to communicate and synchronize with each other due to emergencies, power failures and the likes. Also relative to the general functions of the structure. Then when all the said is functional, City inpsectors, including the Fire Marshall, have to sign off before an occupancy permit can be granted in order for the residents to move in. This work alone can take a few months - all contingent upon de-bugging the system.

From what I understand the first condos open in june, but the street level retail may not be completed until early 2011 (like january). The building will not be fully operational with all purchased units moved in until sometime in mid 2011.

Caught the aircraft warning light in this one. It's sort of a strobe.

In this pic I took back in January, you can see the awning where the floodlights on the south side of the crown are mounted above the main roof.. There's also an awning on the north side where the lights are too.

The strong light on the South Side of the crown reminds me of those lights on the walls inside a theater, like there's a little cone and light comes out of it.

Looking good. I guess this is it for the lighting on the crown.
