222 main west / pipeline animation studios

My friend works for this animation studio and they have been looking at hamilton for months, and finally settled on 222 main west. I have been sworn to secrecy for weeks about this but now the deal is done so we can finally talk about it. This is great news - they have over 90 employees, many of which will move here.

Exciting times!

Can someone post a picture of this place? I'm having a hard time seeing where 100 animators would fit on Google Maps.

They sold the property a few weeks ago, and I noticed on the "light-bright (what do you call those things?) sign" thing that Pipeline Animation was moving in.

Great property... it was the old design/antique store that was there for many years. Lots of room, very high property taxes ($16K/yr) and the asking price was $1.2M, I believe.

Nothing makes me happier than hearing of a non-governmental business moving its operations to Hamilton and the extra added bonus of the possibility of some of its employees moving here as well.

Great news all around!

Wow, is that place big enough for 100 people? Or have the new renos boosted the size? I'll have to take a look on my way past this afternoon.

This is 2011. I would not be surprised if many of the people who 'work there' actually work from home and come in occasionally for meetings, etc.

I'm not sure if they've moved in yet, but the building is looking great.

I drive by that place everyday on the way home from work, and I see people there all the time. In the summer, they are hanging outside and such. Cool house; cleaned up really nice.

Has Pipeline Studios moved in then? There doesn't seem to be a sign anywhere, so I just assumed it was still a work in progress.
