Evidently the guy was about to be arrested on charges of possession of marijuana and is/was threatening to kill himself.

This is what I gleaned from the KVUE news...

I don't smoke it, never have, but even I think the drug should be legalized!! Dear lord if we spend too much money on such a minor drug. People's lives are changed because of an arrest. There are worst drugs that the police need to focus on!!!
