If you exclude the base, this tower would have fit so well in the NY skyline.

It is tall, elegant, slender and its two major setbacks make it look even taller. The perfect skyscraper (but not the perfect location)

I really like this design. It will be awesome if it's as reflective as the rendering is suggesting.

It appears to buck the trend of building oddly-shaped structures in Astana. . . looks nice. . . I think it's been under construction for a while now. . .

What's up with the name? 'Abut Dhabi' in this middle of the Khazakstani plains?

I'm going to assume the development company is based in the Emirates. Does anyone have a better answer?

These days every country (scratch that) every city in the world has a building higher than 1250 feet. It show's the progressiveness of humans, but the ESB's height isn't special anymore, but it's still one of a kind.
