I won't disagree with that, and to be honest I don't really care if the Oil becomes the team that everyone up there is expecting... because I don't (and never have) hate them, it's an Alberta team!

... now them fuckers on the other side of the rocks, that's another story!

Another pretty good game in Detroit. fuckers end up winning in overtime, ending Detroits home winning streak.

Haha, just when we thought Comeau's turnover was bad, Hannan decides to top anything I've seen in professional hockey. How the hell do you toe-pick while skating forwards?

Sooo, Feaster says the Flames will sell vets if not in a position on Sunday. Hmm. Well, too bad nobody wants our vets.

Bye Scott Hannan?

We now hold the 3th overall pick...

Might be the first time we draft in the top 5 since 2005 when we chose Price. We didn't even tank that year because of the lockout... it was the "Crosby" lottery. We got extremely lucky considering we had one ball.
The closest 1-ball team was Ottawa picking 9th.

That was brutal! I almost turned the game off after that.

Anderson is out indefinitely ... that's not good. Sens have relied on him far too much. Hopefully they can keep it together without him but I'm sceptical to say the least.

What a way to go out, cut his hand while making dinner.

I expect that to happen to an Oilers player, not anyone else.

Sakic's Snowblower injury and Dustin Penner's pancake injury will never be topped.

Oil looking good. The flashes of brilliance are happening more and more often.

The Pancake injury is the best in hockey, but I think the 10 weeks missed due to a hard sneeze by baseball player Brian Tallet takes the cake. lol

It happened to me once - powerful enough to put my back out - used a cane for 2 weeks - it wasn't funny at all.

It's not as bad as Penner's but it's the weirdest injury I can remember for the Habs.

Quote:
In case you haven't heard yet, Canadiens G Jose Theodore will miss the next 6-8 weeks after suffering a broken heel on Thursday night while walking down the stairs outside his home.

Especially considering Sakic's snow blower accident was a career-ending injury. Quite a shame.

Reallllllly hoping when things get realigned that the Jets do not get put in a division with Edmonton. The Jets 1.0 had to put up with a loaded Oilers squad. I would hate to see the same thing happen to the Jets 2.0. Keep Hall, Nuge and Eberle far away please.
