Who’s coming?
Everyone interested in, or affected by urban and transit issues is welcome! We hope to attract transit users and non-users, transit bloggers, “transit geeks”, students, NGOs, government, business, academics and researchers; TransLink and SkyTrain staff.
Why this topic?
Responding to increased public and media focus on security issues at SkyTrain stations, TransLink and SkyTrain are consulting the public over 2008-early 2009 to…
Explore station security issues and recent initiatives to improve security, and
elicit stakeholder comments on issues and solutions.
Before holding formal stakeholder meetings, TransLink is supporting the operation of this blog on SkyTrain security, which feeds in to the “unconference” on October 4. We are looking forward to starting a dialogue on this topic by inviting grassroots input using this new and innovative format.
