the only one I think I posted was this, when I was trying to illustrate how comcast needs a less blunt top:

great idea for a thread tho, this building sure was generating a lot of amateur renderings

This thread is great. Even my crappy rendering that I made a year ago is in it. Good job!

I've posted at least 3 seperate renderings to the original comcast thread, and philly IV.

I feel so slighted!

well I went back and found a few of them.

the shittastical renderings of the now defunct 1PP design:

Notice the pyramidal roof, the old version of 1441, and the imaginary skyscrapers I placed at 11th and market.

Another horrible rendering of 1PP, with the old versions of both RATR and 1441.

and now for Comcast Center:

My favorite, based off a sasso photo, with CC, the Murano, and a blocked in Mandeville Place.

A rough sketch of CC from the north, heading southbound on I-95.

A sillhouette view including Mandeville, Murano, CC, the old RATR and the old 1441.

Eigenwelt sorry I missed those...I ran through Comcast version 1.0 really fast. Those renderings are cool
BTW: I dig the 11th and Market skyscraper. Geez, I can wait to east market is built up. I hope I'm alive to see it

Also, not many people have that angle going down South on I-95. I wish we had more photos of the skyline looking SW. There is one from NoLibs but that is extremely close.

LITZ, I missed yours as well. I think I stopped going through the last 30 pages! That crown is sharp looking.

in all honesty...i think the new comcast building is only a detriment to philly's already phabulous skyline.

and no, i'm not saying that because it's a tower that should have been in denver if it wasn't for basically stealing out corporation and relocating to philly. i just think philly had it great already and this isn't helping the skyline as i see it

I enjoyed everyone of those renderings. Right down to the last drop. Thanks for setting this thread up William and all the artists out there.

that first photo on this page is bad ass! i love the definition of the outline and how the foreground subject compliments the skyline.

DUDE!!!!

Great job on collecting all the renderings in one spot like this. It’ll be easy to add them too as new renderings are completed.

Thanks to everyone who has completed a rendering. I love looking at them.

FF118, LOL!!

You should number them so we can easily vote on them or compare accuracy when the building is complete.

I think Sasso had a pretty cool one to, that was not actually a rendering but a basic red line sketching the approximate placement of the building before the construction started. I may have it somewhere if I look hard enough. I use that outline Sasso drew as a mental outline, and always thought how cool it would be to compare that outline to the completed tower.

Again, nice work on the compilation.

Tower, that is one of my favorite views.

1)Trump Tower
2)All 5 WFS towers
3)Complete Sugar House Tower & Casino
4)Comcast Tower
5)1441
6)and Bridgeman's View Tower (which will block out Lib 2 in this angle)
