Great design, too bad it looks short for its height. Would look better if both halves were done in green glass.

Nice building. How many off those phantom buildings in the rendering are under construction as well?

It'll probably be thinner in reality though.

A lot. All the towers surrounding this one have been announced I think. Most of them are under construction now, a lot are at ground level, some coming up out of the ground now (like almas tower), and some are really on their way and gaining height

I've seen this building in a recent book on Dubai's recent architecture. Very promising.

Oh great.

A new Sharper Image Ionic Breeze air cleaner is coming out and someone decided to immortalize it as a 100 story skyscraper.

^If this project was going up anywhere but Dubai, people would be praising it for its innovative and symbolic design.

Sarcasm aside, it doesn't have 100 stories.

80, maybe ?

Do we have to have this question asked again? Let's just enjoy the great buildings going up around Dubai.

Yes you do, and I can pretty much guarantee that someone else will ask it again. The buildings look great now, but i hear rumours that they are cheaping out on the materials, so what will they look like in 10 years?

Dubai is absolutely kicking ass! I NEED to visit.
