Dubailand

I'm having trouble with imageshack & time, but they will get posted here for the best comprehensive model of the property.
UPDATE: -JULY 20- *NEW* PICS + ORGANIZATION.
I'm still trying to get it a little organized. There is more to come.
We'll see how it ends up if/when it all gets built.

http://www.dubailand.ae

Dubailand is divided into six enormous themed areas, referred to as "worlds" and will offer experiences to both children and adults:

1. Attractions and Experience World (will cover approx. 145 million square feet)
2. Sports and Outdoor World (approx. 206m sq. ft)
3. Eco-Tourism World (approx. 806m sq. ft)
4. Downtown (approx. 6m sq. ft)
5. Themed Leisure and Vacation World (approx. 311m sq. ft.)
6. Retail and Entertainment World (approx. 46m sq. ft)

Do you know if this model is brand new or is it old? I'm wondering because city of arabia looks nothing like it's supposed to, and the various res projects are non-existant on this model./

That is insane! The amount of construction in Dubai just blows me away. They're going to have to import hundreds of thousands of workers to try and keep everything in Dubai running.

This whole Dubailand idea is even cheesier than Vegas - nothing but a prefabricated tourist trap. Nobody (atleast no one with half a brain) cares about seeing replicas of historical world landmarks.

Not to harp on Dubai, but couldn't you come up with better names than :

2. Giants World
3. Kids World
5. Space & Science World
8. Film World
9. Desert World
10. Snow World
11. Aviation World

or is putting the word "World" the new hip thing to do?

Do you know how lame Las Vegas would be if they took this approach?

Poker World
Craps World
Blackjack World
Stripper World
Roller Coaster World
Historical Replica World
Instant Wedding World
Club World
Pool World
Hotel World
