It looks outdated but in a good way.

I feel like this one is going to look so much better when completed that it will take people by surprise. It is going to be a fantastic looking building (after all, it's a Foster), easily one of Dubai's finest. Just look at the cladding at the bottom going up.

What are the beige panels being used to clad the concrete columns made from? Precast? For a while I thought the concrete might be left exposed.

NASA Multiplex is a construction company (a contractor) based in the Middle East. They have built (and are building) several buildings in Dubai.

I'm confused, is the cladding not going to be white as shown in the recent renderings? Unless there is a new rendering that I'm not aware of, I was pretty sure the cladding was going to be white. The windows seem to match the rendering though.

This tower is coming along very well. Imposing and tall, two attributes I love in a tower.

I think I realized why I like this building a lot ... I think it reminds me of the Hancock Center because of its handsome tapering silhouette. Like a good necktie. :p

Not a big fan of the top portion. I wish it was executed in the same way as the bottom part.

Are the massive concrete walls getting a paint job? Or will it stay like that?

From the 29th of August by Imre:

From the 5th of September by bizzybonita

Just in case this goes unnoticed.
It's possible there may be a big supertall cluster right near this.

Latest map of the DIFC district

That central tower's final design is most likely this below. There were a few proposals, most of which were terrible but this is good

And One Park Avenue which was found out just the other day. 99 floors and height is between 380m and 405m, not decided yet

isn't that the shanghia center? And isn't that other one a failed vision from Miami or something?

It's not.
But it looks like a simplified version of it.
