CIS football top ten

For the third consecutive year I'm strating this thread, hopefully I will not be the only poster this year??
Laval starts first, but I think that U Montreal deserves the first spot since Laval lost key players during the off-season.

1. Laval
2. Saskatchewan
3. Montreal
4. Wilfrid Laurier
5. Ottawa
6. McMaster
7. Acadia
8. Alberta
9. Manitoba
10. Western Ontario

Good CIS season!

I'll make the trip to saskatoon if the Golden Bears make it to the Vanier. I believe they graduated their QB and #1 running back so I doubt it...surprised they are ranked so high.

Yeah, the Rams blow.

However, they beat Alberta the other day.

Good CIS season!
I see my old school team the Calgary Dinosaurs will be starting a rookie quarterback for the first time in their history. Normally I would see this as a bad sign and foreshadowing a last place finish, but since the Pre-historics are my team I hope this kid will be lightening in a bottle and carry the team back to the Vanier Cup? GO DINOS!

Oh Queen's, where art thou?

I long for the not-so-long ago days when Tommy Denison lead us to glory...

Looks like its going to be another tough season for my team....maybe we can atleast win our homecoming game........although that might spark more car-flipping-and-burning then usual.

Go Gaels!

......the crowd at Laval vs Montreal was unbelievable. I don't understand why other universities can't come close to matching the atmosphere.

Western beat Guelph this past weekend (I was at the game), but only just barely, and only with a field-goal.

Assuming you play Simon Fraser this year, you can already count one win for Regina.
