While being ridiculously tall and a spectacular design, I think it's actually "smooth" enough to even emphasize the design languages of the other two towers, especially the Jin Mao, but also the SWFC.

Nice.. Could be the lighting but the facade of the SWFC looks smoother than what i really is in these renderings.

^I think it accurately shows that the Shanghai center will not only follow the same construction pattern as SWFC, but it will take at least a year before this hits grade. Hence, a construction thread where commentary about a hole in a ground (*cough Spire*) lasts for over a year wouldn't make more sense than a proposal thread open to all discussion about the tower.
