Those were probably the best Regina pix I have ever seen! We just don't see enough pix from Saskatchewan! Also great to see Rimouski, as I have never seen any from there before!

Here's a few photos I took on a walk today (with the exception of the first one, taken earlier this month) in the Armdale district of Halifax. It's a mostly residential neighbourhood, with a few office buildings around Joseph Howe Drive. Manulife Financial, CGI, IMP, and CCI Group all have operations in the area. It's also home to a infamous traffic circle, the Armdale rotary.

---

CCI and Manulife buildings: (Look closely above the word "Financial" and you can see the outline of the old Maritime Life signage. This was their old headquarters, when they were bought out there were a lot of layoffs here.)

A few older apartment buildings:

Shortcut across the train tracks that run though, there used to be a train station in the area:

I live not far from that area, which of course is named because of its location at the end of the Northwest Arm, a small inlet next to the Halifax peninsula. It's kind of nice, although there's not much around. Across from the former Maritime Life building is a small, mostly wooded lot that was the site of the first zoo in North America. Eventually, it was sold off and became New York's Central Park Zoo. A developer has recently purchased the land.

The area used to be at the end of the city's tram system. There was a small airstrip in the 1920s as well as the Simpson's department store and warehouse, which unfortunately have either been demolished or renovated beyond recognition. The Halifax Shopping Centre is across Mumford Road and was the first mall in Canada to feature air conditioning.

Most of the housing is fairly plain 1940-1960 stuff but there are some older homes near certain the major roads and there are some large houses that used to be part of estates.

I'm sure that's more than any of you ever wanted to know about Armdale...

Here's some nature pictures from Hamilton that I took yesterday. Fall season is the best season for Hamilton because of the vast abundance of trees covering the city.

Niagara Escarpment

Webster's Falls because of the Niagara Escaprment and many creeks in Hamilton we have a lot of waterfalls, over 60 different waterfalls. Hamilton is also known as "The Waterfall City"

So now you know where I love to take a picnic at. You can see more of that photo tour here http://forum.skyscraperpage.com/showthread.php?t=118433

Those pix are drop dead gorgeous. I feel so frustrated that it is raining, or I would get out and take some Fall Foliage shots....

Here are some selected pics of North Bay Ontario, population 56,000. I admit that these are not all new photos, but they are fairly recent -- and the one from 2002 i found on the net but included because it's pretty damn cool.

Tree cover in the Northern Hemisphere always looks its most beautiful at this time of year. Here are some pix I took today in Toronto and I hope you enjoy them! I have not photoshopped any of the colours.

Even though I'm in Regina now, I got some photos from when I was Saskatoon, so I'll represent for them.
