There are so many pretty towns near Belleville in Prince Edward County! Nice to see small cities on here as well!

The Monty? The Occidental? The Princess?

Happy Hallowe'en everyone! Here are some pix I took walking the dogs at
lunch. This has to be the most perfect Hallowe'en house:

I imagine these jolly fellows were passing around a glass of milk, or a power shake:

Hmm.. the Ox is a Youth Hostel? Used to be youth hostile when I last saw
it! LOL! Yeah, the Monty and the Princess were at Higgins and Main. Shame
they got swept away. We used to like doing the rounds in University days, and let's just say there is never a dull moment on Main Street!

Golden City shop? No, what is it?

Actually I am happy to hear the Ox has been converted to something
useful. It was just waaaay too scary to go into back in the Bad Old Days.

I have some pictures from last night! Church Street in the gay village, shuts down for a big street party every year. This year the weather cooperated, and the costumes were the best I have ever seen. There were thousands of people there, dancing to the DJ, and having a blast!! Wonderful time all round
Here are some of the pix, but if you would like to see more, I have copied my SSC Toronto photoblog in the City Photos section here on SSP. Visit it!

Lot's of families join in the fun, too!

an "international" crowd!

Naturally, Borat showed up!

The centre of all the fun is the second floor patio of a bar on Church St,
LUB, which had a DJ and, of course, Go-Go Boys:

A dark picture, but it shows how huge the crowd was, and it filled the entire
city block:

That's it for street parties on Church St til next summer!
