Only two? They're all fucking awesome at showing people here what Spire is like not just as part of the skyline. Shitty would be you mother.....board.

"not sure if i can call it a skyline"

How are you not sure?? It's a line of man made things protruding into the sky - a sky line.

Well then say it's not very dense. It isn't not a skyline, it is a skyline, just a spread out one. I'm sure you would find some angle that would make it look denser anyway.

What do people do in Quebec anyway? With such a sparse CBD and very little talk of employment in Quebec (at least here in English Canada) it's a bit of a mystery to me. Who are the major employers in Quebec City?

I imagine a lot of those buildings have to do with the provincial government.

governement is the major employer in qc , then theres touristic industrie.

I cant think of a major private employer really , we have a lot of medium size company ... insurance companies , pharmacology , etc ... but that's it. Thats why we 'll never see a nhl franchise again

Like Press said, its mostly government. As a matter of fact, quebec city has one of the lowst unemployement rates in the country and has a very strong economy.

Congratulations to those who took the time to properly answer an honest question. Give yourselves a pat on the back!

You can't really tell in the picture, but there are a bunch of other mid-rise business towers that are in there. It may not look it, but that city is dense as hell. Barely enough room to walk.

I've been to Quebec City many times. It just doesn't seem like they have anywhere near the amount of office space needed to support a primarily government city of 500,000. So, I asked the serious question as to what the major employers in Quebec City were. People on this forum are hilarious. It wasn't a shot at Quebec in any way. And what's with the wow comment? Just because I have been to a city doesn't mean I should be an expert on its top 10 employers.
