NEW YORK | NY Times Tower | 1,046' Pinnacle / 746' Roof | 52 FLOORS

Continuing this thread from the original thread, construction is almost complete with the recently spire added.

Update: 11/12/2006

Come to think of it, I like the fog effect the NY Times Tower exhibits in nyguy's photos!

Really great photography comes from those with passion in their hearts for skyscrapers.

sorry i havent been able to read all 2000 of the posts in the former thread, but is the function of the "screens" on the facade to block sunlight for workers inside? i think the uncovered parts of this building look pretty badass.

Hey, I took a picture of this thing while driving when i was coming out of the tunnel on Nov-2. Maybe I can post tonight.

Awesome shots!!! Just a quick ots question (may have already been covered). Does it usually take so long to finish this portion of the construction (adding spire)? Or was the building just now topped?
