Favorite Sports Stadium/Arena

Ok, simple enough. What are your favorite sports stadiums/arenas which are currently in use? Post a pic if you can. Here's mine. Michigan Stadium, old school, huge capacity, classic. And Im a Spartan too. Whoops.

I've always had a liking for Nou Camp. It's colossal, yet elegant.

Northlands Coliseum, Edmonton Coliseum, Skyreach Centre, Rexall Place....

when you form a connection with a stadium as a young boy, as it is the home of your heros, it tends to stay with you the rest of your life.

for me, nothing will ever touch the magic of wrigley. i love the ballpark itself, but one of the things that makes wrigley a true baseball paradise is the way it's snuggled into it's famed baseball neighborhood, as these pics demonstrate.

Wrigley Field is an institution all by itself. I love the landlords who put up bleachers on TOP of their apartment buildings behind right field.

Wrigley is great. But in the American League, there is only one ballpark that matters...and no, it's not the House that Ruth Built, it's Fenway Park.

I love how you can make out all the advertisements that used to pepper the Monster on the last pic...Of course, they seem to be making a comeback, albeit in a more tasteful manner (CVS, WB Mason, etc)

^ yep, wrigley and fenway are the two national treasures of baseball. there's nothing retro about them, just 100% solid real-mothafuckin-deal. i still have to get out to boston and catch a BoSox game at fenway one of these years.

I have to say PNC Park, home of the perennially pathetic Pittsburgh Pirates. The view alone seals the deal.

The Roman coliseum at Arles, France:

And, yes, they still use it . . . for this:

Cast another vote for Wrigley.

I also have to put in for RCA solely for the memories. But, the new Colts Stadium has great promise (if it ever gets done).
