Because many years ago Sandy did a referandom to increase one of their taxes inorder to put a street light on every street. If you go to sandy you will notice for the most part ever street will have they same style street light. This I know because they wanted to put one in front of my house but after talking to them I asked them if they can place it down the street more. And they did.

So Salt Lake Valley now has over one million people and thats what a million people looks like. I guess there's still a lot of room on the right side of the photo. I know that Daybreak plans on putting 500,000 more people on the west side. In addition to Daybreak's 500,000, who knows what the population build-out for Salt Lake Valley is? This photo makes me want to take up flying lessons.

I'm guessing State and Redwood are brighter because of what's located on those streets. There aren't any real businesses on the freeway, so they wouldn't be lit up like all the signs on State.

Thank you. Nice to be here.
I bet all of those lights on state street is because of ALL the car dealerships on state.
