Seattle: two new First Hill project renderings

at least I think they are new, I have yet to see them myself, the skygarden is supposed to have plants all over it I guess, and the species change depending on the elevation...

Skygarden, 22-story, 97 units:

The Boylston, 13-story(ish?) 43 units:

Bond, add these to the city compilation thread, por favor.

They're both already there.

The Skygarden is already there. That's a nice rendering but does it really add anything to the one we already have? If you want me to add it I will, but IMO it's not an interesting-enough angle to make it worth a bigger download.

The 2nd one is the 8th and Seneca proposal. The 2 renderings we already have for that are easily superior to this one, so we definitely don't need to add this rendering.

I think that's a slightly different angle on Skygarden that's on the front page in the Compilations section. The rendering of Boylston is different.

I had thought the Skygarden was supposed to be taller, say around 26 stories. I wish there could be an attractive First Hill highrise that could approach the ugly but tall 1st Hill Plaza in height, which towers over all of the other buildings up there. It is at least pretty.

It's not 8th & Seneca. It's on Boylston and Spring or thereabouts -- a block south of Sky Garden and across the street.

no it's a different project, different street. This is where the Boylston will be in this parking lot:

and 8th and Seneca is right by freeway park, at this location, that will occupy where the brick apt. building and the adjacent parking lot:

Don't tell me you haven't heard of the Boylston project after it's been out for years. And it's not even remotely of similar height to 8th & Seneca.

Well they just look very similar, that's why I thought (think?) they're the same.

I don't remember every minor project that's been proposed over the past few years, especially on First Hill which I don't pay much attention to.

The slope of the streets make it seem like it could be 8th & Seneca. I hope it isn't cause it will be much shorter (squatter) than originally proposed.

There's no question whatsoever. Why are we discussing this?

I thought we were just talking to be sure that the design of one of the buildings hadn't changed.

I'll take the one at the very top. Well, at least from that angle. So, Hoodrat, did you ever get to see Carlos of Interpol DJ? He wasn't so great back when I lived in New York. I haven't followed up on them in awhile.
