It's no different than the province throwing a bone to the other oilers in the name of 2+ billions to study carbon capture when all these boys each earned record quarterly profits.
Think of it this way then... We contributing the arena capture studies in the range of 350 million.
The difference. Between the two? One will continue shoving billions into their pocket; and the other- our city, us- we'll see a return interms of infrastructures and downtown developements- I'm guessing, at minimal, 1.5 billion.
Further to that, we will partially erased a sychological scar left to us curtersy of the critic himself former mayor Purves. While mr. Purves is too busy renting that boulder to smash his glass house and burning his kettle beyond black, I am confidently and comfortably ready with my pocket (tax) to develope this city for the better.
