My aunt and uncle just moved back there, (Durango), after about 3 years of sticking it out in Florida. Haha, you can't keep my uncle out of Colorado for long. Not that I blame him.
I'll be doing that drive next week. Except I think I will go I-35 to Salina, KS then I-70 straight to the mountains. With all the snow they've been getting hopefully we'll be able to get up there.
Day 3. We hit the slopes (ski classes anyway and some small slopes) for our first experience with skiing. The snow was awesome, and more comming. Expecting one to two feet tonight.
Denver Airport already cancelling flights.
Hope to get more and better photos of Denver, Colorado Springs, Amarillo, Wichita Falls and Fort Worth on the way back on 1/1 and 1/2.
When did you drive up through Colorado Springs? Man that snow melted fast!

Great shots Boris!! I haven't had my Colorado "fix" in a couple of years so those pics were a nice substitute. I've made that drive a few times and I'm so ready to get out of the car when we get to DFW. I can't even imagine how you did it heading on down to Houston.
