Of course he will. Incumbents never lose mayoral elections in Calgary, and Bronco has done a more than adequate job as mayor. I'd vote for him again.

I think he has done a sufficient job as mayor and would vote for him.

I'm really hoping Drew Farrell runs...Bronco has never seemed genuine to me. The guy just says whatever he thinks will get him votes.

Although I still think he would win either way....I just don't think that the majority of Calgarians follow local politics enough to care.

Diane Colley-Urquhart will be running, I'm sure. She's been taking potshots at Bronco whenever she could.

^^^ I hate people with hyphenated names. Those who can't even make a clear cut decision about their name should not be making decisions for the city.

^ really? tell us about some of your ideas.

As far as Bronconnier, he is pretty much invincible as an incumbent in this city. Who are we kidding? Overall I give Bronconnier a B. He does good things, supports urban development, LRT expansion etc. However, his good side is balanced by his endorsement of sprawl.

I pretty much agree with all of what Josh has said except I'm going to deduct more points for Bronconcrete being the developer's pet, as well as creating so many free-flow roads without fully thinking out the consequences. I'll be nice and give him a C+.

I think she might run, setting herself up as one of the favourites for the next election when Bronconnier leaves for higher orders of government.

see, the way i see it. with all the photo's Bronco has been in at virtually every construction site in the city, and they away he's fighting to get our tax bucks back from the province so that he can build schools and transit, Bronco is a sure fire bet to win again.

that is, unless someone with the last name Klien were to run against him.

Sorry Bronco Dave hasn't shown me anything.. except his annual need for significant pay raises.

He seems to be coasting.... not much of a leader in my books.

Bronco is a true liberal. He never talks about reducing (or fixing) costs, only about the need for more money. I give him a C.

Chenmau has it right! True liberal at heart. Dave "tax&sneer" Bronconnier Always looking at different ways to raise taxes. While refusing to cut the fat in his own back yard. Let's hope Druh throws her hat in the ring. C- for Bronco.

Bronco Dave.... boob of the year 2006.

How the hell does Calgary have such a left wing (big tax) mayor.. while Winnipeg as a business loving tax cutting mayor?

It doesn't make sense.
