Galveston- New Year's Eve

Drove around the African Amercian neighborhoods New Year's eve...

The couple who opened this coffeehouse returned to Galveston from Los Angeles after 25 years, the local drug dealers tried to burn the place down TWICE

This building was interesting, it has some sort of artsy monument outside

This neighborhood was once rows and rows of government housing projects, now it's a section 8/low income neighborhood

This guy has a local public access tv show called "Hood TV" :|

On to another neighborhood near downtown....

Nice thread. Nice to see waves at Galveston. i wanted to head down there while I was home in Houston last week but didn't make it. Darn!!!
