Screw it. Now that I'm a Manitoba student in Alberta, I'm taking off my front MB licence plate. What is MPI gonna do, arrest me?

Any Manitobans know if the province will be changing the Manitoba logo on the license plate? They recently re-designed the provinces logo.

Alberta needs a new provincial logo.

The current one screams 1970s, unless the province has made a decision to stay retro-cool and I am just unaware of it.

I like the slanted A in Alberta. It looks pretty cool to me. It is quite retro. Manitoba's is by far the worst.

In the US, you can't beat DC's plates:

you don't need a front plate in Quebec, either.

I kinda like the "impact" type font on our plates, but they're kinda 'ho hum'.

Manitoba's older plates (1983-1997) were the dullest plates available.

Most Canadian plates are very boring looking. We need something more colourful like a lot of the US states have IMO.

Not too plain but not over done. It's nice.

As for plates, I really like any European plate. Why can't we use the funky long ones?

Quand est-ce que Québec a changé their plaques from "la belle province" to "je me souviens"?
personnellement je préfère la belle province.. paints a much nicer image..

Yes, but the new one makes people say 'I'm a souvenir!' so keep it.
