Not to sound like a broken record, but does anyone have any guess or estimate about when the last 32 spandrels will be placed?

Glad it's almost topped out. When should the glass near the roof?

Telecommunications spire? oh please... Is that Durst's pathetic attempt at getting what is now clearly an antenna counted in the final height?

I have no problem with this very nice tower being 1373 feet tall.
Durst just needs to give up on the BS. By removing the cladding the spire is no longer an architectural element and should be recognized as such by the CTBUH.

If you go to www.onewtc.org and click on the office leasing tab and then click on floor plans. There is a drawing of the building that as you run the mouse over it, tells you who has leased that floor. When you get to the top look at the drawing of the spire. There is still a lot of architectural design that went into this. It really gives you a better view of how nice this spire will be, even without the cladding. There wont be any equipment on it when it's finished. There may never be any equipment on it. I'm sure they will use the rings first. I still believe it will count towards the total height.
