Okay, here's a good question for ya'll. Looking at the top photo of this page, I noticed WTC1 & 2 footprints slightly rotated away from the roads. Does 1WTC footprint have the same rotation as the Twins?

I don't think they're rotated away from the West Side highway. It's that they're parallel to all the older roads to the east. Then (if this story is correct) the WFC area was built using landfill from the excavated bathtub of the original WTC, and the WFC buildings were then built parallel to the WS highway.
Does anyone know how close we are to the point at which all 8 sides of the building are equal length? I think that's the next milestone afer surpassing 7WTC

I could be wrong about this but I believe the Twins were aligned with Broadway. T1 is aligned with Vesey St and T2 is about 10 degrees counterclockwise from Vesey.

Hey guys. Is the information in the top of the board about WTC 1 true? (ex. it says that WTC 1 will be 1,373 at roof and have 108 floors yet all the diagrams show it will be 1,368 feet at roof top and only have 105/104 floors) I would have wanted it to have 110 floors like the Twin Towers,but I guess 9/11 gave the planners too much precautions.

Although I do despise Faux News for being a right wing nut job propaganda machine they are about the only ones covering the rebuilding.
Well it's not like they're covering it well...it's still through the lense of "freedom" and unnerving rhetoric. They ask leading questions of uneducated, bitter construction workers and highlight the sensational side-stories rather than the construction progress itself. It's amazing how much they sensationalize everything. I wish a more reputable news agency was doing a better job. I think it goes without saying that I can't wait to see Frontline's special, the independent movie, the Discovery channel's work and others so we don't have to rely on Fox News for frequent coverage.
At the very end he actually called it the World Trade Center. Fox "News" is slipping. But yes, it is nice that they're covering it. Others will also do so more and more as "Freedom's" erection gets bigger and bigger.
