i like pizza hut sometimes - it greasy perfection

Papa Johns is pretty good though

as far as chains go

there is a place on davie street at granville where all the clubbers go for a slice - its really quite good - the crust is perfect if the toppings aren't

and I have to say boston pizza does have some crappy ideas

I was talking about Pulcinella, not Pizza Hut. And I didn't say it made us better or worse than Paris, I was merely pointing out something interesting.

Mamma's pizza in Toronto is my favorite. Pappa Johns is good as well and I know we have a few around the 905. But if you want really good pizza you need to hit Chicago. I was there last year and ate at a place called Gino's East, wow!

Not my pictures, but this is the place and this is the pizza. Graffitti on everything!

I'm still addicted to pizza pizza, its alot cheaper than pizza hut or dominoes, and it tastes just as good. However, after going out east i'd have to say pizza delight is my favourite, followed by pizza pizza and then dominoes.

Figs on pizza sounds pretty good.

@MolsonExport: You think lettuce on a pizza is weird?

35 bucks for a 14 inch pizza. Frankies has 18 inch pizzas for 7.99, and they're much more... normal looking.

There's corn on that fucker!!
Vile. I ate something just like that once, just to impress the girl that I was going with at the time (years ago!), who was an arch-vegan. I am a carnivore. Rabbit-food pizza. Fooking disgusting. Gimme 'all-drayse' (as they say in Montreal) anyday of the week.

Eww serious can't anyone make any decent veggie food.

I asked for no meat on my Sub in rural New York state and she started putting on fish.

Then in New York we asked for veggie pizza and they were asking do you want eggplant or cauliflower. AH!!
Then they put on green pepper on the pizza that were like 4-5 inches long.

People like Papa John's? Maybe it's better in Canada then in the States but it was pretty gross when I was in college. I had to be pretty drunk to order from there.

I've never had anything better than passable pizza from a chain anywhere.

Too bad none of that pizza magic drifted northward. If anyone ever get a chance to try Saskatoon based Vern's Pizza, dont.
Agreed, Vern's was terrible. When I was in Saskatoon I generally ordered from Chicago something, which was well south on Broadway.

/\ "Was' being the operative word. It's not there anymore. The location now houses a place called Cedar's Pizza, which I have yet to try.

I don't like pizza all that much. Panago isn't too shabby and neither is Funky Pickle.

Pizza 73 has the best Vegetarian pizza though.

Best pizza place is Donovan's in Calgary. Now that was a remarkable pizza.

That's too bad, it was the most reliable pizza I found in Sask.

Here in Calgary I generally get delivery from Demitri's on Kensington. It's not for the thin crust crowd so lay off! I am completely partial to the pizza at Hop in Brew though.
