I went to a few New Haven Nighthawks hockey games there back when the AHL had a franchise in town. What was the Coliseum used for of late? Is there a new arena in town that replaced it?

New Haven Coluseum

The Coluseum has been closed since 2003. With the recent addition of the Bridgeport Harbor Yard Arena and the Arena at Mohegan Sun, the old place could not compete. The building was demolished already. The only thing imploded was the parking above the Coluseum. They left the two spiral ramps up to protect the surrounding area during implosion. The area will be the home to a local theater group and a Community College.
